Неорусский концепт-стор с уникальной подборкой локальных техник, авторов и традиций
HOROMY X PALATY
Together with Horomy Studio, we created a kitchen with neo-Russian aesthetics. Kitchen Model #1 is located in the St. Petersburg Palaty Gallery. The snow-white interpretation of the classics was replaced with dark wood and original design solutions. Idea implementation and the creation of a fresh space perception were possible thanks to the help of Horomy studio architects Olga Vetosheva and Eduard Zakharov, who are drawn to neo-Russian aesthetics.
The kitchen, created as part of the Palaty Parlou project, turned out to be minimalistic and discreet. When working on the design solutions, we sought not imitation, but honesty: the frame serves as a support for the tabletop, and the wooden facades smoothly flow into rounded metal handles.
In addition, the upper cabinets stand on a shelf, which rids the kitchenof monotony and associations with a traditional facade. When choosing materials, we settled on veneer and solid ash, details of stainless steel, and Laminam porcelain tiles.
