ПАЛАТЫ
When you grow up in a mysterious house built during the Russian Imperial era, spend most of your time in the forest, imbued with sunlight’s dust, sleeping in trees and haylofts, building little houses in the woodpile, you learn one essential thing: to instinctively recognize what is genuine and alive — in materials, forms, structures, and character.

Svetlana Vronski works with fibers such as wool, wild silk thread, linen, nettle and cotton. She enjoys using raw materials because she feels they hold the greatest potential for innovation. The most exciting part for Svetlana is engaging in a dialogue with the character and soul of the material — earthy, natural and honest. She listens to its voice, speaks its language through its properties and utilizes its natural qualities and flexibility (and sometimes stubbornness) when choosing forms and concepts for her works.

The artist is especially fascinated by the theme of interconnectedness. She was born into a cultural environment far from her roots. In her search for identity, inner freedom, and resilience, Svetlana explores how cultural layers and relationships influence a person, as well as the connection between natural instincts and acquired traits in shaping character and destiny.

For Svetlana, it is important to create objects that are both functional and simply meaningful. Through tactile and visual sensations, she aims to help people find inner peace and mental clarity.
